I am currently working on a project slated to finish in the summer of 2010.
If you're interested in working with me as your ghostwriter and the project is not time-sensitive, I am very open to considering projects that fit into my guidelines below. After we talk and you feel comfortable in what I offer, I can certainly work on a custom sample to clarify for you whether I'm the writer you're looking for.
I think you'll find that I bring a lot to the table, as someone who considers marketing prior to developing any writing. I can offer extensive guidance on self-publishing, which is what all of my clients in the past have opted for. (So I do NOT have specific contacts in the publishing world, though I DO know how to produce agent proposals.)
I can also offer online marketing help for your book if you'd like that assistance as well. This can include a website, blog, articles, press releases, search engine optimization, and more.
My rates for a typical book are $22,500 to $30,000, depending on length, required research, etc. I prefer to do things by phone and e-mail, though I will make a trip for the right project. Depending on the back-and-forth process and requested revisions, I should be able to complete your book in 3-6 months.

In order to give you the most bang for your buck, I am only taking on a project that I have background strength in. So I can work in any of the following areas:

- Fiction
I am willing to produce a custom sample of up to 2 pages on anything but a novel, to show you that I've grasped your concepts and to give you a feel for the kind of writing I can produce for you. For a novel, I will show you a sample chapter from a novel I've written.
Once you have seen what I can do and you'd like to commit to working together, I will request a non-refundable deposit to hold your spot, because at that point I will be turning down other jobs. Once the job begins, I accept payments throughout the process of writing so that you can see things progressing as you invest.
